Master Bailey's synchron team finished in a very respectable 5th place at the European Poomsae Championships
in Portimao, Portugal - 14th/15th November 2009.  The category was won by Turkey with a score of 8.2.  Spain were 2nd with 8.0.  Germany and France both scored 7.9 and took the bronze medals. 

The UK team scored 7.8 and missed out on a medal by 0.1!

Master Shin became European Bronze Medallist for the 2nd time when he finished 3rd in the Masters 2 category.

The standard of poomsae was very high.  Nine players from the British Team made it to the final of their category but Masters Shin's was the only player to achieve a medal placing.
