Chris Sweeten had the toughest possible first match at the Junior Europeans in Sweden today. He came up
against Turkey. The Turkish team are favourites to take the overall title and won 2 of the 4 divisions played out yesterday. Chris put in a very good performance but narrowly lost out to one of Europes best junior male competitors.
UK team coaches, Paul Green and Steve Jennings were very pleased with Chris's efforts and are confident he
will be a much improved player thanks to this experience and will be a serious contender for the Junior World Championships next year.
