The Scottish Open took place at Grangemouth Sports Complex on Saturday 2nd October 2010 and was a huge success. 

The competition attracted nearly 200 players from all over Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, Ireland and Gibraltar.

This makes the Scottish Open the largest patterns tournament in the UK outside of the national championships.
Central Academy had a strong team of over 40 players competing and achieved tremendous results. 

The Central Team won 19 categories and took the overall team trophy ahead of Ireland.
